May 24, 2014: Run or Dye

Jasper wanted to do a color run, so we did the Run or Dye 5K in downtown Des Moines. It was a lot of fun -- starting and ending at Principal Park, with a route around the capitol and color stations throughout.

We didn't plan very well, so J had to borrow cousin Rhea's sun glasses.

We had a great time, especially when out of the blue he decided to roll around in the 'dust' at one of the color stations then, a few yards later, do a 'snow' angel.

The after party was fun, too, where -- in a big crowd of finishers -- we all threw color up in the air and got covered again. And Nat and Ave joined us, too!

We'll definitely do it again.
