Happy Birthday Ave!

We had a wonderful time with family and friend's at Avery's 2nd birthday - puppy theme, her favorite! At her 2 year check-up, she was 28.5 lbs and unfortunately we couldn't get her exact height because she wouldn't stand against the wall. When they moved down the lever to put on top of her head to measure her, it scared her, so we did't exactly get a height :) But what didn't scare her - was her fun party! complete with badminton, water games, water balloon fight, puppy paw cupcakes and more!

Bondurant Summerfest

Unfortunately, we were up at Mayo during the majority of this year's Bondurant Summerfest. But Grams and Gramps were sooo great to take the kiddos to the parade and then when we got home the next night, daddy took Jasper up to ride some rides before it ended. Adam and I got to enjoy the fireworks, but we tried waking Jasper up and he was too tired to come down and watch them from our backyard...hopefully next year, we'll all be able to enjoy the festivities together again!

More 4th of July Fun

After a long, fun-filled 4th of July, Avery nestled in my lap the entire time we watched fireworks and had a bonfire in our backyard. The McMurrays came over to enjoy the view of the fireworks, and kiddos enjoyed sparklers, glow sticks, and telling stories around the fire.

Happy 8th Anniversary!

Adam and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary at Prairie Meadows Hotel. We had a great dinner at AJ's steakhouse, watched the races, and enjoyed a wonderful suite. The kids came the next morning to take a swim in the pool. It was a nice, relaxing evening with the best husband in the world!!

Mom, How Tall Am I?

Jasper really likes to know how tall he is...and if he gets taller on a daily basis. Grandma Debbie gave us a growth chart, so we're starting to mark it. Jasper at 5 years old is about 4 ft. tall. Avery at almost 2 years old is about 2 3/4 ft. tall.

Mayo Clinic

Never really thought we'd have to be patients at Mayo Clinic, but we are lucky to have found such great care. Here are a few photos we took of our last trip up there, which was the end of June, where I had a laryngoscopy with balloon to fix my subglottic stenosis, which is an issue I have had from Wegeners Disease. This time I was feeling a little better before surgery compared to my last surgery in March so we got to go out to dinner and enjoy Rochester a little more...and Adam managed to sneak a picture of me at the hospital before surgery - thanks, hun!
