Mom, How Tall Am I?

Jasper really likes to know how tall he is...and if he gets taller on a daily basis. Grandma Debbie gave us a growth chart, so we're starting to mark it. Jasper at 5 years old is about 4 ft. tall. Avery at almost 2 years old is about 2 3/4 ft. tall.

Mayo Clinic

Never really thought we'd have to be patients at Mayo Clinic, but we are lucky to have found such great care. Here are a few photos we took of our last trip up there, which was the end of June, where I had a laryngoscopy with balloon to fix my subglottic stenosis, which is an issue I have had from Wegeners Disease. This time I was feeling a little better before surgery compared to my last surgery in March so we got to go out to dinner and enjoy Rochester a little more...and Adam managed to sneak a picture of me at the hospital before surgery - thanks, hun!

Boys

Jasper and Joey had a fun time visiting cousin Rhea's work while the Wienermobile was making an appearance. They took a minute to "kind of" smile for the camera :) boys will be boys!

Happy Birthday Dom and Pryce!

We celebrated Dom's 4th birthday and Pryce's 10th birthday at Rick and Sue Parrino's house - they have an amazing backyard with pool that the kids really enjoyed! Avery wasn't quite sure about the water at first, but then she warmed up to it pretty quick. Jasper had fun going down the small slide while daddy and the bigger kids had fun going down the bigger slide. Jasper, Dom, and Perri also played spies with Dom's new walkie-talkies.

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July filled with 4th of July-themed donuts that Daddy bought from Hy-Vee, a fun parade, BBQ with grandparents, hanging out at the Smiths, and then ending the evening watching fireworks from our back yard. Happy 4th!

StoryTime Fun

We've been enjoying some fun storytimes at the Bondurant library and Altoona library this summer. Here are a few pictures of Jasper and Avery making flowers at Bondurant storytime and having a puppet show.

Fun in the sprinkler

This has been the hottest week of the year. Combine the heat with a couple weeks of no rain and the yard is starting to take a beating, so we decided to let the kids beat the heat - and water the yard - with the sprinkler.
