Funny Faces

Avery had quite a few funny looks on her face while we were driving out to Stuart. The "frown" face is her about to fall asleep, the "smile" face, is her catching us looking at her laughing at her frown face, and then she finally gave in and fell asleep while talking on her phone. She was pressing on the phone the whole time, so it was making noises, but she was so zonked out, it didn't even wake her up.

Happy 9th Birthday Syd!

We headed out to Grams and Gramps to celebrate Syd's 9th Birthday. It was a beautiful day and we had fun hanging out, flying kites, opening gifts, and just enjoying each other. Happy Birthday Syd, we love you!

Fun Before Bedtime

Great Day to Fly a Kite

Sunday we decided to fly our kite. It was really windy and the boys got it pretty high a couple times. Adam would get it going and Jasper would hang on so tight to keep it flying - even the neighbor boys, Dalton, Sutton, and Peyton came over to help us. There is also a picture of Miss Avery trying to take her coat off outside without me knowing. I'm in the kitchen taking this picture through the screen door. She loves putting her coat off and on as well as her pants, and it was a little too chilly to have her coat off, but she was sure trying :)

Time Out

Avery is getting to the age (almost 2) where she knows what she's doing is wrong and the words, "time out" are coming into play. In this picture, she was throwing the magnets off the fridge and after telling her "no" she kept doing it; therefore, here she is in time out. She was so stinking cute just sitting there facing the door like she was supposed to. What you can't see is her precious little sad face, but after only a minute, I grabbed her, hugged her up, and she was back to playing...and not throwing.

Avery and I both had pigtails in and I was trying to get a picture, but she preferred to play hide and seek :)

Hiding in Cabinets

Avery has discovered that sitting/hiding in the kitchen cabinets is quite fun!

Lego City Birthday Party

Some photos from Jasper's 5th Birthday party with some of his friends - the theme was Lego City! Jasper is a very lucky boy - he got to have a cousin birthday with both sides of the family as well as a friend birthday! Thanks everyone for helping him celebrate turning 5!

A Few of My Favorite Things

Whether it's building a fort out of furniture for Jasper or playing with the hooks on her "eat seat" chair and/or pushing her babies in their stroller, these are just a few pix of the kiddos favorite things. In the photo where Avery is pushing her stroller but is looking away from us, is her new thing to do. We bring out the camera and she immediately turns her head and smiles - little stinker :)

Last Easter Celebration of the Year

Kids had one last fun easter egg hunt at the Cleveland's house. We now have a huge bucket full of candy and this easter bunny even hides quarters and dollars, so we've got Avery's half saved and Jasper is already saving his for some Legos. Thanks everyone for a fun Easter - we are so fortunate to have two great families to spend our holidays with!
