Cool photos (in my opinion)

On a photo shoot for work the other day I went to an Altoona farm where Percheron horses are raised. Here is a small selection of the photos I took, which I thought I'd share because I enjoyed them so much.

Great-grand children

After Alex and Char Lonsdale's wedding today we gathered the kiddos up for a big group photo. We're missing a couple of Doris Diddy's great-grandchildren, but here goes:

Playing in the leaves

We had a great time yesterday raking up the leaves and playing in them while the weather was still nice.

After a long, wet summer we've had a great October. Less than an inch of rain has fallen so far, and it's been beautiful fall weather almost every day - 70-80 degrees most days.

Football!

We went to Syd's soccer game and a football game broke out between Jasper and a few other kids. It looked like Jasper was the youngest of the group, which included uncle Ken, but he held his own.

Yeah, he may have tripped over that ball and fallen face first to the ground. And yeah, he got a little physical, tackling kids who didn't have the ball. So what? Big whoop!

Sydney's soccer game

We went out to one of cousin Sydney's soccer games in Stuart on Saturday. I can't remember the score the her Big Red Machine definitely won.

This age group is funny - there's all sorts of shapes and sizes out there and it looked like Syd was a little nervous to take one one of the bigger gals out there. She did great, but she definitely didn't want to collide with someone literally twice her size.

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to Allsup's Pumpkinville in Mitchellville Sunday, Oct. 3 for a late celebration of Grandma Debbie's 58th birthday.

We're still working on 'the grin' for photos. Jasper likes to get real cheesy and almost looks like he's in pain, when really he's giving what he thinks is his biggest, best smile.

Ummmm ... like I said, we're still working on it.

Pumpkin Patch -- Jump!

We visited Allsup's Pumpkinville pumpkin patch in Mitchellville Oct. 3. One highlight was the straw jump, which is just a big pile of straw for the kids to jump in.

Jasper, Syd and Kyren loved it, but it took its toll on J's face. In his words, he was way scratched up when we were done.

It was worth it, though.

They all had a great time.
